April Favourites

I had five favourites this month, two skincare products, two makeup products and a brush.

Skincare
I have very dry skin and often get dry patches on my forehead, cheeks and chin. Two products have recently changed the way I feel about my skin and increased my confidence. The main one being the Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil. I had heard a lot about the amazing benefits of Argan Oil but the price always put me off, however now that I've tried it I don't think I'll ever use anything else. For an oil it is not greasy and it has completely changed my skin from dry and patchy to completely smooth and hydrated. I usually use about three drops instead of a moisturizer before I got to bed. I've even started to think of myself as having normal skin now and not dry.
My second skincare favourite is the Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream. I apply this before using a matte foundation and it gives my skin the most beautiful glow without making my face look oily. My skin can sometimes look dull and dry and this fixes that problem with it's tiny light reflecting particles. I've also found it's helped reduce the redness in my cheeks.

Makeup
Another Body shop product I've been loving is the Honey Bronzing Powder in the shade 01 Light Matte. It is the best bronzer I've found for my skin tone and it works perfectly as a contour without looking too orange or muddy. Plus the packaging is really cute.
I've been completely obsessed with the Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush this month. I have the shade glisten. I talked about in my last post so I won't go into detail, but my obsession with this blush doesn't look like it's going away anytime soon.

Finally I got the Real Techniques Eyes starter kit and I've loved all the brushes but the one that has made the biggest difference to my makeup routine is the fine liner brush. I was lacking a liner brush to apply my gel liner and adding this brush to my collection has been very helpful.
